Middletown- On Tuesday, August 14, 2012 at 6pm the Shenandoah FFA chapter held their annual chapter call-out meeting for all students that have an interest or were curious about the FFA organization. Breana Perry, the chapter’s Treasurer, began the evening in prayer before beginning the delicious meal of pizza and desserts. During the meal attendees were treated with an “Olympic” style training video and a photo slideshow, highlighting the chapter’s activities and officers. Each person in attendance went through four mini-sessions about various topics associated with the FFA like: FFA Camps, AgriPalooza, Indiana FFA Truck Ticket Sales, and District IX Kick-off. The chapter officers were ecstatic about the attendance and the energy of the room during the event. Over 75 people were in attendance and Shenandoah FFA is looking forward to a great year. The advisors left everyone with one thought for the year; How will you GROW with Shenandoah FFA? The chapter would also like to announce that annual AgriPalooza presentation dinner will be on September 7, 2012 beginning at 5:30pm. Cost of the meal will be only $7 or take a chance by purchasing an Indiana FFA truck ticket and a meal ticket for only $10.
